ADVISOR TRAINING FOR GIRLS AGES 11-17

GENERAL FOCUS

Girls ages 11-17 are becoming responsible, independent young women.  As their troop leader/advisor, you will become more of an advisor than a true leader, helping the girls in your troop/group to lead themselves.  This training focuses on the age level characteristics of girls ages 11-17, and how to use girl/adult planning and experiential learning with time as well as offering guidance on troop/group government, behavior management and ways to increase retention of older girls with busy schedules.  You will also review resources available to you as a Cadette/Senior leader or STUDIO 2B advisor.
