Your gift to Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is a gift for girls. Your contribution will help continue to give girls the opportunity to develop the positive self-image and strong decision-making skills necessary for their future success.

How Can I Support Girl Scouts?
Each year we rely on supporters like you – our families, volunteers, alumni, friends, corporations, foundations, and area United Ways – to make a financial investment in Girl Scouting. Your gift helps to ensure that we are able to serve all girls who want to be Girl Scouts. Your gift can take many forms:

Family Partnership Campaign Gift
The Family Partnership Campaign is an invitation for parents, guardians, grandparents and volunteers to invest in life-changing experiences that help girls grow strong in mind, body and spirit. By supporting the Family Partnership Campaign, you will make a lasting impression on the girls in the Great Rivers Council and play a vital role in helping us ensure that the Girl Scout program is available for your daughter and for all girls.

Your family partnership gift is important because it makes it possible for the council to subsidize program offerings—keeping costs affordable for girls and their families. Find out how to give to the family partnership campaign.

Community Partnership Campaign Gift
Annual gifts from local businesses, civic organizations, and Girl Scout alumni are an essential element in funding Girl Scouts. They allow us to provide Girl Scouting for more than 23,500 girls in nine counties in southwest Ohio and southeast Indiana. Your gift will also provide support for 9,000 adult volunteers who make the Girl Scout program possible in our communities.

Leadership Campaign Gift
The Western Ohio Council is proud of the tradition of 100% participation from its leadership team. Board members and paid staff of the Western Ohio Council are committed to providing high-quality programs and enriching experiences to more than 23,500 girls.

Corporation & Foundation Campaign Gifts
Local corporations and foundations have provided grants and direct financial contributions to support the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio - Great Rivers Region. These contributions help to diversify the council funding base and make Girl Scouting a true community endeavor. Matching Program Gift
Your employer may have a program to match contributions to not-for-profit organizations. Many individuals and families increase their contributions each year through matching gifts. Ask your employer’s human resources department for more information and a copy of the appropriate form. Complete the form and submit with your contribution to:

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Memorial and tribute gifts provide a meaningful opportunity to support Girl Scouts and recognize significant people in your life, and both can be given in honor of a family member, friend, troop leader, or organization. A special acknowledgement of your thoughtfulness is sent to the person or family (no gift amount is disclosed).

Planned Giving
Planned gifts include deferred gifts, bequests, life insurance, charitable trusts, pooled income funds, charitable gift annuities and outright gifts of cash, stock or securities. Planned gifts ensure that the Girl Scout program is available to future generations of girls so that they may develop the skills they need to reach their full potential. Donors who make a planned gift to Girl Scouts – Great Rivers Council are eligible for membership in the council’s Juliette Gordon Low Society.
