Even more important than the funds troops earn from the Girl Scout
Calendar Sale are the many life skills girls learn and practice
during calendar sale activities:
- Communication - She becomes more comfortable meeting and talking to
people
- Teamwork - She works with others in her troop to achieve a common goal
- Planning - She creates a plan, sets goals with deadlines and tracks
progress
- Finance - She uses math skills in real-life situations such as
totaling orders, figuring bills and making change
The Why's How's What's and Who's of the 2008 Calendar Sale
